It's simple! They started out strong, but they flopped right at the end.

My husband is bitter towards Rex Grossman. He says their defense is what got them to the Superbowl, and their offense is what made them lose (plus the whole Colts being better, lol). I would say these things myself, but I don't know a whole lot about football. :) They couldn't have lost to a more graceful coach and team though. If they're going to lose to anyone, it should be the Colts. :)

Not really. Their defense just couldn't hold Indy for over 38 minutes they had the ball. The field conditions also made it difficult for them to put any pressure on Manning. I'll give them credit for holding Indy to 3 straight field goals on red zone possessions, but the Colts just had too many chances. The main reason was Chicago wasn't able to get it done offensively. One big run by Jones and that was about it. If Chicago doesn't go after a decent QB in the off-season, they should fire their GM.

The Bears put up a good fight - you really weren't sure until about 3 minutes to go that it was over, a lot of games end much sooner.

After Rex through his second interception, he didn't recover. He started getting cautious and throwing like 1 and 2 yard passes.

The Cubs are the only team refered to simply by fact the cute losers. on account which you do in comparison to Chicago perchance you may flow someplace else. I doubt that your innovations-set would be ignored. It became right into a stable O.T. game. individuals are regularly chuffed after an exciting win. The Bears might have in basic terms laid down on account that they're out of it, yet they performed a puzzling fought game and gained. it relatively is stable for the integrity of the sport.

The Colts team is a very fast team which is why they are so successful, alot of the larger slower defenses cannot keep up to them and get worn down by the second half. That's why the Colts come back huge in the second half time and time again. Well that and the fact that Manning is a second half QB!!

Yes they did. I'm from around Chicago and have always been a Bears fan. They were doin fint the first 12 seconds and Grossman didn't do much to help.

The defense was TIRED because they were ALWAYS on the field!! If offense could drive alittle more then going 3 and out...maybe defense wouldn't have been exhusted by the 2nd quarter. But they were ALWAYS out there. And let's be honest, it was the defense that got them to the superbowl...not the offense and certainly not unstable Rex Grossman.

No Fizzle, Weaknesses Exposed. Not hard to stop the run, when they can't pass. Not hard to run over a defense that is on the field for 2/3 of the game. Grossman has to grow up fast (I would make him throw off of his back foot all summer so he can do it accurately) or be replaced. The window doesn't stay open forever.

When Grossman started throwing ducks up, again...that was it. Not much the rest of the team can do at that point.
