I have a flat screen t.v. and there are spots on it. I tried spraying grease lightening on a rag and wiping it off, but the spots won't come off. It looks like tiny dry water spots, but it's not and I don't know what it is (I have 2 kids and a dog lol)

when I scratch the dots with my fingernail some of them come off, but I don't want to scrub the screen because I don't want to take the chance of scratching it.

As long as the screen is glass, you can use a NEW single edged razor blade. What you do, is spray lightly with windex, and use the razor blade to gently scrape the stuff off the screen. If you use gentle pressure, you will not scratch the screen.Be sure the razor blade is new.If it is dull, you will most likely scratch the screen.
