Just curious how many people were surprised to see Peyton win the big game. I know that the news casters felt that Peyton could not do it.

As a Tennessee Vols Fan, I had to pull for the former Vol. I was very happy for him in winning not just the big game, but the biggest game of all. Hope to see him there many more times in his carreer.

He is one of the few players you see that is not getting in trouble, not wasting his money on things he does not need and represents his family, friends, past coaches and fans better than any player I can think of.

So the question? Who was surprised he won the big game? Why?

I wasn't surprised at all.... I knew what they were capable of! I have been a Indy fan for awhile... I didn't just jump on the banwagon for the hell of it like many folks did, but whatever Manning is a damn good QB and a wonderful person! He will be in the hall of fame and there is many more great performances out of him! GO COLTS!

I wasn't surprised. He's basically the only football player I really know anything about, but I really wasn't surprised at all. Yesterday was his day to win it. :) I'm glad more than anything so all the haters can shut up about him not having a ring. He can flash it around when he's flipping people off in his new Cadillac, but he's too classy of a guy to do it. :D

I wasn't surprised. I have followed Peyton since I first heard about him during his first year in the NFL. I think he is one of the greatest. I'm glad he finally got the chance and got the ring he deserved....and MVP as well! Excellent!

Very few people.
Most experts figured Peyton to win.
Vegas odds actually had the Colts as 7 point favorites, which is almost unheard of in the Superbowl.
Obviously, last nights game shows us why the Colts were such heavy favorites.

No one should be suprised that he was able to pull it off , even with the shaky start. He has proven time and time again that he is a great second half player and now he has the ring to prove it!!

It was deffinitely not a surprise. They deserved to win they knew what they wanted and they were just stronger than the Bears altogether.

I wasn't surprised after the refs gave him the AFC Championship over the Patriots...The Patriots should have been in the Super Bowl...They got screwed by the refs...
