I watched a documentary not too long ago that showed this man and his son making huge footprints out of wood, and making trails so that people would think that big foot was there. People fell for it. It was really funny. There is no proof of nessie nor big foot, but there is also no proof that they do not exist. The deep water has not been explored thoroughly. There is no way to have explored the depths of all the waters. For all we know, there could be all kinds of (not monsters) but large dinosaur type animals that live deep within the sea. I don't discount anything that has not been proven otherwise one way or another.

Just as with crop circles, big foot, & area 51, Loch Ness has two polar opposite camps - those who believe whole heartedly in Nessie, & those who have "debunked" it as nonsense. There's even been a man come forward and admit that the famous photo of Nessie (with the long neck sticking up out of the water) was faked by him & his grandson.
So it depends on which you choose to believe.

yes; and there is not now and was never a "Monster" but it sure made a lot of money for the people in that area of Scotland from tourism. The photo enhancement was was a shadow and i personally think it was one of those huge Salmon swimming in the Scottish Waters that wandered into the Loch ... but hey, it would be over 100 years old today and let's face it. No monster has ever lived to be over 100 years old, right! :-)

They have come to the conclusion that there is no live animal in the Loch after searching all over for it. It was probably something floating in the Loch which was mistaken for the monster.

about 1953 a sottish news paper published a picture of a corps that had been washed up on the lochs shore line with resemblence to the dinosaure with the dimond flippers cant think of correct name. but as far as i can gather their is not enough food in the loch to sustain a nessie, but one never knows !

The Loch has been searched and no monster was found. It is my guess that Nessie was invented by the tourist industry.

There is a theory that it was actually an elephant that had been abandoned by a travelling circus - what you see in the classic Nessie photos are its trunk, held above water so it can breathe, and its back.
