length of the line doubles because people cut? Then everyone behind you stares at you as if they want you to tell those people off?

Yes, I hate when people can't wait in line like everyone else.

I make sure that I speak loud enough when I start cursing at them.

Not unless I let those people cut in front of me, then I can understand why they would be so pissed off. Other then that, if they cut in front of the person in front of me and they do not say anything and get mad at me, I would say that if they are that upset about it, either tell them off or go as far as to get a manager and have them be escorted out of line and placed all the way in the back.

I hate it when that happens, especially at lunch when your really hungry. Then a group of 13 people budge a line acting as if they didn't see the long line.

I think what's happening is people will look at each other in hopes of someone being the first to speak up, and when they do others will follow.
