Besides the travel by plane and the shoe thing...there was also the fact that he couldn't do small additons. In the movie he was able to count the amount of matchsticks that were dropped and you could give him two high figures to add and he could do that. But give him 3 + 12 (or something small) and he couldn't give a answer. Hope that is what you were asking.
