Have a car with no engine?

Question

I was given a car with no engine and no trans to build a drag car
it is a Nova that has been made to have only two doors.
I have a girl team to build the car and want to get as much milage on the team and car as possible.
Loacted a engine with 1000 hp the cost is more than we can afford .. We need sponsors to get this done so any ideas?????

The main girl besides me can make all the parts we need on the CNC mill and lathe. The body work is easy for I have done alot in the past few years the paint job we will sand fill in (or replace with new metal I'm the welder) then send out After we will detail ourselves. With air brush

go to carsponsorship.com they will 99 times out of a 100 give you some type of sponsorship fan,semipro,and pro sponorship the cost for them to sponsor you is 84-90 bucks i have a smei pro sponorship through them my sponsor is SCP Team1 all you have to do is go to a few races or car shows a year and have proof that you went like mine is 2 shows or 3 races a year.

when filling out your application it wouldnt hurt to stretch the truth alittle meaning how much work have you put into your car put over 10,000 the higher dollar amount you put the better chance of getting a car sponsorship

I know a lot of very competitive drag racers that have been doing it for decades and still haven't got a single major sponsor. For 99% of the people who drag race, it's a money pit. Even after the car is built it's an ongoing thing. Something is always breaking. Ask around at parts stores, machine shops, body shops, engine builders, etc. and maybe you can get some small sponsors. Good luck, it's not easy.
