I am indian muslim living in dubai i have wife in india i told my english girlfriend of several years i love her and wanted to marry her ,i have told my english girlfriend i cannot marry her becoz it will finish my old frail mum off am i just making excuses ?

Only you know if you are making excuses. Your frail old mum has lived to be a ripe old age and Im sure she has dealt with bigger things in her life, so, you following your heart is not going to finish her off. Your mother should want your happiness anyway. What you need to do though, is make up your mind where you want to be...stop leading your girlfriend on. If you love her and you dont divorce your wife, then you are stopping your girlfriend from moving on. You have to tell her once and for all what your true intentions are. Allow her to move on if you are not able to commit to her. Love her enough to allow her to find a man who can trully love her they way she deserves. Let her go if you cant make up your mind.

You're a cheat, so I don't why you got married in the first place. You are just making excuses you don't love either woman. If you don't love you're wife then divorce her you'll be saving her the heartache, and you're now girlfriend she'll be saved a lot of trouble just by you leaving her because you'll find someone else who is nicer, prettier. Or maybe you just married the wrong woman and now you want to be with the right woman, it doesn't matter what your mother said you should be willing to marry this girl if you love her why else would you tell her that if you didn't mean it? Go ahead do all the proper steps to show her that you're serious. Good luck!

I just have to tell you first off that you have really hurt a lot of people who don't deserve it. You really need to think about HOW and WHY you can do that...and for so long!!! You sound like a user...I really feel for this girlfriend that you have strung along for years ( I want to marry you..wait I'm already married..oh and sorry..it'll make my mom mad)..and your wife who you have left in the dark. You are really selfish...I don't know how your definition of love can include the deceit you have thrown at these women. If you love someone you wouldn't treat them like this.
Okay..so now it's time for you to clean up your life. You need to tell her the truth..and face the consequences. If you don't love your wife you need to get a divorce no matter what you do. You also need to financially give her a settlement for all the *&^* you have put her through.
If you really "love" your mistress ( I can't believe she would want to be with you) you need to come clean about what you have done so she knows what she is getting herself into. Tell her your plans to divorce your wife.
As for your mom...it will be hard. She won't understand and she'll be disappointed but you do have to clean up your life and be happy, right?! At some point we all have to pursue our own happiness....and NOT hurt others along the way.

Don't worry about it, drink more and take money out of her purse all the time. Take a bunch of pictures and show her friends.
