Rex, the O-line, the lack of a running game, and most of all the defense led to the demise of the Bears. (who for the most part held Indy to field goals instead of touchdowns) Rex is a young QB, and as such NEEDS a lot more help from his supporting cast to over come such obstacles. (Unlike Manning or Brady, who have proven time and again they can do it on their own) However when you fumble a snap DROP TO THE GROUND!!! The more time you spend looking for the ball, the better chance the defense has of recovering it. But it wasn't all Rex, that D just was not there last night. They got ran over completely by Rhodes and Addai. The Power is in the AFC, bottom line the bears were over matched, and brutally beaten by a superior team. (this is coming from someone who HATES the Colts)

I'm thinking it's the Coaching. Either recieveing coach or QB Coach or OC, because Griese did about the same as Grossman. If I were Grossman I'd sue the Bears for ruining his career.

You're blaming the loss on coaching and poor pass protection? The coaches and O-line didn't fumble/mishandle the ball 3 snaps in a row. Granted, it was raining and the ball was slippery, but almost losing the snap 3 plays in a row shows some awfully poor handling of the ball. And a lot of the interceptions were Grossman just tossing the ball long, hoping it would end up in the hands of a guy in a black shirt. While those plays were probably called by a coach, Grossman had short options on some of those plays.

I agree with you that Grossman is likely to get better. And I agree that his pass protection could have been better. But the biggest reason the Bears lost comes down to their QB. I don't know that Greise could have done any better, but the loss is mostly on Grossman.

Amen. People need to get off of Grossman's back. Manning threw 28 interceptions his rookie year, and if I recall they did give him some ****. People just need to give Rex sometime. This is basically his rookie year. So I am glad to see that there are some others out there that still back the team and aren't crying for change just yet.

I think that the Bears have to improve at the QB position. I am not knocking Rex. I just think that he needs to make some better decisions. Lets all just agree that yesterday was NOT Rex's day. I again think it was a team effort that they lost. Let me say this DEVIN HESTER ROCKS!!!

I'm sorry to say this, but Grossman had some really stupid decisions. After all, that was Superbowl! He should do better for his team.

well, out of those three, it has to be grossman because he had two picks, two fumbles, and he lost the game for his team. it's surprising that he is doing so bad after doing so well at Florida.

I think he will become a great quarterback, i hate it when everyone is on top of him, saying he is not capable, and guess what he is. Next year will be his year, they are going to win it all
