burp your baby after he\she eats each ounce. This helped me. That way they don't build up a big gas bubble that causes a huge spit-up.

I was having the same issue with my son. Does your son cry alot? and is he congested alot? My son did and it turned out he has reflux. Basically heartburn. His doc prescribed him 2 meds. Zantac for the heartburn and Regalin to help keep the muscle closed between the stomach and esophagus.
Try to burp after every ounce the baby drinks, also, try thickening his formula with baby rice cereal. After meals, have the baby sit with his head elevated above his stomach. Either in his carseat, a bouncer or simply holding him for about half an hour. You can also buy a crib wedge to elevate the top of the mattress. Hope this helps.

Feed only an ounce or so at a time and burp. Make sure all the air is out.
My son was breastfed, but what he spit up after every meal was amazing.
How old is your baby? You may be feeding it too much at one feeding.
Be sure to burp your baby often, get all the air out. A lot of times when the air comes up for the burp, so does the milk.

Give baby bottle and ounce at a time and burp between every ounce, make sure you are using the slowest flow nipple, and also check the formula is the right for your baby Enfamile AR is thicker a helps reduce the throwing up.

as the lady said earlier, it is possible that you are overfeeding, and some (most)babies (definitely the newborns) are not capable of letting you know when they are full. You should definitely call your pediatrician. Be sure that after you feed your baby you are keeping him/her propped up for at least 30 minutes or so after the feeding (my daughter had Acid Reflux), and if it looks like your baby is doing more than spitting up (actually throwing up) be sure and stop the formula, and use pedialyte until you get ahold of your doctor, he/she may have a stomach bug, as my daughter did when she was 2 weeks old!

Check with the doctor.
You may have to switch formulas. (I assume you have him on formula?) Some formulas are just too hard to digest.
Are you using a low flow nipple? He may be eating too much too fast.
Are you burping him every couple of minutes during the feeding? He may be gulping his food and consequently air, which will cause him to spit up his food with the air in his tummy.
Are you feeding him while lying down? That can also make him swallow air which will make him more spit uppy.
Just a few suggestions GOOD LUCK mama :)

Maybe he is allergic and needs soy milk? I have a 9 week old and she was spitting up a lot and we changed her formula and used distilled water, and everything changed. Make sure you have a good filter on your sink if you dont already, or just get some bottled water. Try to burp him every ounce if he will let you. but maybe you just need a simple formula change. Good luck

Try just giving a little at a time. Give in 1oz increments. Then in 15mins or so, if he keeps that down, try another 1oz. Do that for a few days and see if that works. If not, then tell your dr. because he may need a visit to check for reflux. Many babies can have that. Hope that helps.

the first thing you should do is contact your baby's doctor. The baby my be allergic to the type of formula he is getting. Also he may be eating too much at a time.
