why do we buy HDTV my guess is so the commercials will look more appealing so we buy more ****. the programs suck the FCC are destroying the net works. how much money does anyone company need when will they put a stop to this corrupt system. not by voting i will quote George Carlin "You can go to your pretty elections you like so much and sit at home cause voting does nothing this country was bought and paid for along time ago"

YES! There are so many commercials, you can't even enjoy a program anymore. They also crank the volume up during the commercials! Makes me want to toss the TV out the window!!

There are so many commercials because they are paying the networks to put there commercials on there. the more they pay the more airtime they get. it's all about the money in their world. When the rest of us just what to watch our favorite shows in peace! it's not fair.

and what's up with comercials now in the movie theaters?!

The commercials are how the networks generate revenue. The more commercials, the more money they make. That's what it's all about making money.
