Well, if you mean do they wear long underwear, absolutely. People who work outside in the cold need everything they can get.

The term "longjohns", however designates a one-piece suit of thermal underwear. I can't say that I've seen any of those for a very long time. But I suppose you could find them if you searched the net.

Well if you mean long underwear or thermal underwear then yes, I know lots of guys and girls that still wear them. Especially when it's -40 C + windchill (winnipeg). I don't wear them normally but if I'm going to be outside for a long time I might slip a pair on.

I'm sure that in really cold places they still do regularly! Hunters, fishermen, etc. People in places like Alaska or Newfoundland, and such.

Here in Georgia, we've had a bit of a cold snap and my boss - a man - wore them under his business suit.

Long johns are comfy, warm and sexy on the right man!

lol..hell yeah...when it's -30 outside and you have to dress in a business suit for work, believe me if you don't protect yourself in the cold you're in for a VERY brisk walk from the car to the office door.

But nowadays they are not called Long Johns, but rather Thermal Underwear.

they still sell them - all skiers and climbers do for a couple of examples ( and since you used the phrase 'long johns' you should know that that only applies to the one piece suits - they are normally found under 'thermal underwear')
