Every time I ask anyone this question the answer always comes back to Nokia 3310. It is an old phone now but if you just want to make calls and send texts it's ideal. They are virtually unbreakable.

Nokia 8390. Put it through a washer and dryer TWICE and still worked well. Smallest phone I had ever seen up to that time, and one of the best signal strengths ever. Ive used all sorts of Motorola, LG, samsungs, etc, but I can tell you, nothing comes even close to the reception and clarity of Nokia. Ive since upgraded to the E60, which is nice, but not as durable!

What is the question? "best ever mobile phone"? Is not a question it is a statement, and... the best ever one would be down to people's opinion... depends on what the criteria is!

A Nokia 311 it is idiot proof so suits me am not great with mobile phones ha ha

Ive got a Samsung D900, and I think its brilliant. Its really easy to use and its got loads of really good extras on it. The camera is the best Ive ever had on a phone and you can record videos on it aswell

Mine was the Panasonic GD92. It was a basic phone but silvery and slinky and had a choice of 5 colours for backlight for the screen.
I was gutted when I lost it, gutted.
