I exfoliate my legs with a pumice stone in the shower, and I use a body wash with shea butter in my body wash that is really rich. My skin is really dry pretty much everywhere, especially on my legs. They are really flaky and sometimes look scaley. Does anyone have any homemade remedies for softer legs?

Plus, I need to sneak the ingredients around my mom, so I can't steal a whole bottle of honey or something else. Anyone have some ideas?

I can use lotion, and I do. I use Lubriderm moisturizer with Oat Extract, but if I don't moisturize 3 times a day, it is just a waste.

Oatmeal. You dont need very much.
Chop up oatmeal and add it to a bath (about 1/4 cup) or make a paste out of it with warm water and apply to your legs. (works great on your face too)
I have terrible "winter" skin and this helps and is very soothing. Moisturize after you rinse and pat dry.
You probably want to lay off of the pumice stone on your legs, that is way too abrasive.

At night after you get out of the shower pat your legs dry & put some Vaseline on them. It might sound gross & it might be sticky but I had the same exact problem & it definitely helped me! Also dont used that pumice stone on your legs. Shaving & washing exfoliates them enough. You can use Vaseline every where & it will help alot! And during the day when you dont have Vaseline apply some good lotion at least twice! After a couple of days you will see results! I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

Well I know two recipes for body scrubs. First recipe is simply bath oil mixed with salt.. and the second recipe is to mix brown sugar with milk to make a paste. Just use as much to make a paste that you would use in one shower time. I guess you could try moisturizing morning, night, and every time you get out of the shower. Good Luck

try using lotion instead of pumice stone. you'd use pumice to get stains off the inside of a toilet boil, not to scrub your skin (with the exception of rough heels). you need to put moisture in, not take it out. pumice is drying you out. do you not have any lotion lying around? and if you can't use household items without asking your mom, you've got bigger problems sister.
