The mass of people should always feel secure because of the government's protection. Therefore, how regrettable it is for the government itself to cause a breach of trust and put the citizens in difficulty for political reasons. Unfortunately, today's government leaders are generally dishonest and irreligious, and thus all the affairs of the state suffer. In the name of democracy, rogues and thieves fool the innocent populace into electing them to the most important posts in the government. Currently this is the case in America, and as a result the citizens are very dissatisfied with their government. But because people themselves are corrupt, therefore their government is corrupt. If citizens correct themselves, the government will be automatically corrected. If the general populace is rascal, the government will consist of rascals. The government means elected. So if we are not rascal, you'll not elect another rascal to take charge of governmental affairs. But because we are rascal, we'll elect another rascal. So how can one expect good government?

I believe this to be true. I have researched different news sources, both mainstream(fox news) and underground(infowars.com) and both agree. I verified the link to fox news provided at an earlier answer and it turns out that indeed, Prescott Bush was a Nazi banker. The ugly truth is that his grandson is worst than him, President George W. Frank has a new book out called “Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President” in which he discusses the President’s behavior of torturing others for torture’s sake. At the end of the day, is good to be informed as to what the nature of the world situation really is. We're heading for World War III. Prescott Bush was a banker representing one of dozens of banks and hundreds of US companies doing business with Germany and helping to rebuild thew country. When Hitler began nationalizing industries he and FDR agreed that US companies would be exempt from any nationalization so the rebuilding would continue and banks would continue to invest in Germany.

FDR maintained diplomatic relations with Germany until 12/7/1941. The state department's main priority was protecting US investments. When diplomatic relations were suspended some banks continued to do business with Germany. Those banks were alowed to continue for almost a year (October 19420 until American troops began the war in Europe. At that point all banking and business with Germany was to stop as they were formally at war.

The Federal government seized all assets of companies dealing with the enemy and made that retroactive to the cessation of diplomatic relations. No businessmen or bankers were charged with any crime. When the assets were returned to the bank Prescott Bush shold his share for 1.5 million dollars and used it to amass the Bush fortune.

FDR seized those assets temporarily to boost the country's treasury and have a surplus for running the war. As the economy finally improved the government was able to return the assets of those companies that they seized without a warrant or court order. But they ignored other companies such as Ford who was in Germany until 1942 as well.

He was one of 7 US directors of an investment firm that did the financial transactions for a Dutch bank that dealt mainly with a steel corporation whose owner was a supporter of the rise of Nazis, but who turned away from them because of their oppression of Jews and Catholics.

But it does not mean Prescott Bush had anything to do with the Nazis, or that he supported them in any way, like Joseph Kennedy or Charles Lindbergh did.

All this distorting of the truth solely to impugn Bush is terrible. If you have to lie and distort facts to attack a person, it generally means you have no justification for your feelings beyond an irrational hatred.

2) There is a no-fly pogrom where people are secretly added without due process.
3) The highest levels of the Bush Administration champion the concept that citizens are not entitled to due process.
4) The Bush administration maintains off-shore prison camps were people are detained indefinitely.
5) The Bush administration kidnaps people on US soil and sends them or off-shore prison camps (obviously without due process).
