Back in the day colors went with the seasons. You did not wear yellow in the winter like you didn't wear black in the summer. Funeral you were black and not anything see thru

they wore blue jeans with a flannel mans shirt with a heavy black/navy blue P-Coat a real wool Navy coat
or they wore those kind of off white vinyl coats with fake lambs wool inside
