37.5 x 9/5 add 32 = 99.5

well think of celsius being a number less in numerical value than farenheight. then if you want to convert deg C to Deg F then use 9/5 times celcius then since you are gong to a greater number add 32 to it then you have it

The opposite is true if you are converting farenheight to celsius (larger to small number number) then do the opposite First subract 32 then multiply times the reciprical of 9/5 which is 5/9 which is 0.555.
So 212 - 32 = 180 then 180 x 0.555 = 100
{ ( 212-32 ) X 5/9 } = F to C
100 deg C is 1.8 (or 9/5 x100) = 180
then add + 32 +180 for 212 deg F
ie:
{ 100(9/5) +32} = C toF
so 37.5 x1.8 = 67.5 and then add 32 to = 95.5 F

Formula is F= Celsius times 9/5 + 32

so... F= 37.5 times 5/9 + 32
equals..... 99.5 degrees F
