1. It's not my country.
a. Because I'm part Native American and it was taken from us.
b. I didn't vote for the man in office and even though I voted against him and another man won, he was still declared president.
2. Last time I checked, we weren't being invaded by Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan or Somalia.
3. If we did get invaded, I wouldn't need a uniform to fight for my country, because we have the right to bear arms.
4. The whole idea about living in a "free" country is that you can have a differing opinion and can have different beliefs than everyone else - including pacifism.
5. The constitution gives us the DUTY of questioning our government in order to preserve our rights.

I don't know anyone who wouldn't fight for their country, but most people don't want to fight for the interests of corporations or other countries. Risking the lives of your loved ones for the financial gain of a few, is a pretty hard sell.

We should fight for our country - which is why I'm so angry that our soldier's lives are being wasted in Iraq - which was never a threat to our country.

Fighting for your country does not necessarily mean you're wearing a uniform and holding a gun.
