i need to know that how many laps should run around the track field for 2 miles!

Actually, every track is different.

The standard length is actually 400 meters (1312.34 feet). A quarter mile is 1320 feet.

It's more complicated than that, though. If you'll notice, the runners are staggered at the start. That's because the further out the lane is, the longer the distance that runner must go. The true distance is lane 1.

So, if they were running a 440 (440 yards = 1/4 mile) and the track was exactly 1/4 mile long, the runner in lane 1 would start from the finish line. They never do.

Same with longer races. If the race was a mile, it'd be 4 laps long, and the runner in lane 1 would start from the finish line.

If you walk a track, you'll see the starting lines for the various races are painted onto the track surface, and they go all around the track. That means the track isn't exactly 1/4 mile, or 400 meters long.

the difference in length between the inner lane and the outer lane is very small. 4 times around the track is 1 mile. So you walked about a mile and a half. Congratulations :)
