Nagin disgraced himself - but Bush takes the hit. The Gov Blanco was a total diaster too.

Bus loads of people were shipped in and they voted for Nagin and then they left again. New Orleans is a 3rd less populated but for the election they came back to vote for Captain Chocolate City

People can be so selfish and greedy as to not care about anyone but their own. I can not believe there were that many racists to re-elect him after what he failed to do for them. And especially after the 'chocolate city' remark he made. No white person should support New Orleans...Nagin owes white people an apology.

He was re-elected for the same reason that so many blacks openly CHEERED when OJ Simpson was acquitted of murder. They shouted, "We won! We won!".

Well, now the residents of New Orleans can be proud they "won" again. Let's just see how happy they are the next time a crisis arises in New Orleans, and the night before the mayor is just out on the town drinking.

Because New Orleans needed a man with a black white mentality.

If you don't like the choice move to New Orleans and vote for someone else.
