Ok if 2pak's lastname is shakur was he muslim because Shakur is one of Allah's (muslim god) name.

His mom was a member of the black panther party so she had strong muslim ties. They were following malcolm x and farrakhan at the time so basically being muslim was the "in" thing to do. I don't think they were within the religion, it was just a means of shedding their slave names. But Tupac believed in Christ so I'd guess he was a christian.

Actually Shakur is Arabic meaning thankful(to God) and Tupac was Christian,and the name Tupac is Incan,but his birth name is Parish Lesane Crooks which was later changed to Tupac Amaru Shakur

He was whatever. Shakira also has the stem "sh-k-r" (gratefulness, thankfulness, gratitude) and she's not Muslim, either.

he was christian, but he believed in reincarnation which comes from hinduism/ buddhism/ jainism, so he was a open minded human being.
