You would think that the best military in the world could have won this by now. Im just glad I never enlisted. Id hate to be a part of a losing team full of people who cant even win a war!

Do not be down on the troops, they are just political pawns for George W. Bush. Bush's politics is losing the war not the troops.

The troops are winning the war - militarily. That have destroyed much of al Qaeda's command and control structure. The battles that we are losing are in the press, here at home.
Just as we never lost a single battle in Viet Nam, we have not lost one in Iraq or Afghanistan. We lost the Viet Nam war in the press, here at home, because the press wanted us to get out of Viet Nam. The same thing is now happening in Iraq. We can only lose the war of words. We cannot lose the war of arms.
Check out history, and you will see I am right about Viet Nam.(Even the North Vietnamese Generals later admitted that.) Check out current events - very carefully - and you will see I am right about Iraq.

First of all our "TROOPS" are not loosing the war our politics are. They are not on a "loosing team". They're risking and loosing their lives to protect your freedom and safety. It sounds to me like you asked this question to tick people off. We do have the best military in the world. you should remember that the next time you board a plane, walk down the street, or enjoy a day in the park. If you don't like it get informed and vote.

I think the problem is they're still seen as more or less ...enemies.
In the WWII they were seen as freedom bringers: whenever they went they had full spontaneous support from the locals.
This time they find open hostility from those they are supposed to free and defend... so, in the end, often they cannot tell the enemy from those they have to protect.

We military members are glad you didn't join too. If someone with your attitude were in a combat unit, the odds of you NOT being the first through the door on every assault would be very slim indeed.

We won already:
The left is just trying to lose the peace by emboldening our enemy and breaking or troops spirits the leftiest are dead to me for betraying our copuntry. ALso for saying Bush is wrong even know they voted for it and also not even jumping Clinton's crap for all the attacks on the USA and also Clinton was the reason we thought WMD existed in Iraq. It was Clinton's intel that took us to war but no one addressed that.

Because American troops are losing focus. They are playboy soldiers...having relationships, having girlfriends and they look at porno.
The Arabs are winning because they don't have such distractions.
