I'm trying to find the title of a 70's(?) pop song but can't find the details of a website I've used in the past that searches lyrics and gives you a list of possible song titles. Does anyone know of such a site please?

just go to www.letssingit.com and you can type in some of the lyrics and it will try to match the string with songs in its database.

anytime I get stuck I use a search engine but ensure that I get a couple of words in a row. For example, If I wanted to know the title of Imagine by John Lennon but I didn't know anything about the song, I would search this in a search engine:
"Imagine there's no heavan" lyrics
By typing any words you know in " and typing lyrics after it, you should get the title and artist. The more you know of the song and typoe in the quotes, the better your results will be. Also if you know the name of the song and not the artist, and there may be many people with the same song title, use a website like www.amg.com

Normally if don't know the name of a song I just type the lyrics that I know like in hte yahoo search bar and search. It'll pop up things that include those lyrics and most of the time I can find the songs name.

Well you can go to a lyrics website and type them in and they should give you the title of the song

I'm a huge 70's songs fan, I have like 1,000
You can always try www.towerrecords.com and type in keyword search

a good website which I like to use is http://sing365.com/ - it allows you to search for songs by song title, album title, artist, by images or by lyrics - its got a good database also with a lot of songs - better than a lot of other lyrics sites i have used in the past - good luck with finding the song

what i do when im trying to figure out what songs lyrics go to is i type in like part of the lyrics in yahoo and it almost always will pop up with the song.. hope it helps

I would go to letssingit.com and click the drop down list and find lyrics. Then, type in the lyrics that you know and it will give you the name of the song.
