I wanted to be a writer... I started writing lyrics when I was about 8 which turned into short stories at about age 12, by age 15 I wrote a complete manuscript for a novel... Then I read.... I studied writing formats and by age 20, I wrote my first screenplay. By the time I turned 25, I was gaining the courage to submit but my life fell apart....
And now at age 30.... I have over 100 feature film length screenplays formatted and polished yet not registered with WGAw (lack of funds).....

OH and by the way.... I'm a Housewife and mom to 3 kids, so I never did become that writer I ever so wanted to be...
Now an accounting degree is looking more feasible.

But in my heart, writing will always be my dream job.

I've always had a Fascination with taking apart all things Mechanical and Electrical. The Problem was, as a Kid, I couldn't put anything back together. Now I can, and I've got a Part-Time Business repairing anything & everything. I Work full time at a Maintenance Department, so, I'm sort of doing that. I'm still working on what My Avatar is & does.

It changed from week to week! I can remember wanting to become a nurse (I pass out at the mere sight of real blood, although I love watching Discovery Health!)

My Dad was in the Army, so I wanted to become a soldier for a while (can't you picture me clomping around in his boots?)

I wanted to become a world famous chef, and I cooked for the entire family from the time I was 13, and I even went to college for 2 years towards that dream, but the weight was piling on, so I changed majors to something a little less fattening. I'm still a reknowned chef - to my family and friends! (and that's enough for me!)

God bless!

Sadly enough, I didn't have any aspirations when I was young. I didn't have anyone ask me that question, nor did I explore it on my own. I just never went there. I wish I had had someone to make me think a little more clearly when I was younger. Would have saved me a lot of heartache. I'm happy to say however that my children have always been encouraged to consider adulthood and how what they did when they were young would bear on their adulthood.......THey're happy, well adjusted people....one's in med school, one's happily married and working an office job and doing her animal and art hobbies and one is in school and working at what he loves. I'm living my life...just a little...vicariously through them.....just a little....just for fun!

I started to want to be a lawyer somewhere around the third grade ( I was a Matlock addict, what a nerd!) but officially in the fifth after I spent the whole summer watching the OJ Simpson trial with my grandpa. 10 years later, I'm now in law school :)
