Get your Notary Public license. There are tons of opportunities from signing loan documents, to certifying documents, birth certificates, death certificates, etc. You can do all of these on your own schedule.

I can sympathize with your situation, being in the same one myself. What did you do for a living prior to being a mom? Is there any way you could still do something like that from home? If not, you may want to consider babysitting. Believe me, finding someone reliable to watch children is worth every dime that the person charges. I'm not recommending turning yourself into a day care facility-too much liability, too many legal issues to address. But, if you could help out a neighbor or something, it would put a few extra dollars in your pocket-just a thought!

My sister's down stairs neighbor does legal transcription, and has so much business she hired helpers. Lawyers send her recordings of different meetings or transactions (verbal) and she uses a special machine of some sort to record the verbal words into special format. My coworker's wife does the same sort of work, but for doctor's. I don't know exactly what's involved with the transcribing machine- if it's like a typewriter or laptop, or what credentials you need, but it may be worth checking out. One woman is a SAHM to a 13 yo boy, the other is a single woman with no kids.

A number of jobs can be found online although I do not personally know anyone that has had an online job.
