say "thank you" to the persons who are closest to you,friends or even strangers ? & do you expect people to say it when you do something nice to them?or it's not important?

I say it all the time b/c I expect to hear it from other. Saying thank you is VERY important 2 me....it can even make a person's say when you say it.

I always say thank you.
And...well, saying thank you is kind of like a way of letting the other person know that you´ve actually been of some help and that you appreciate it you know....so no its not really important to me whether people appreciate my efforts or not...just as long as i know that ive been able to help them, that would be enough for me.

I say it all the time to everyone that did or said something nice to me. I don't think it's important when people don't say thank you to me.

i say thank you all the time.i don't feel right not saying it.
i don't really expect the same from other people, but it would be nice every once in a while hearing a small thankyou:)
it makes my day a whole lot better

Thank you is extremely important. I don't do things for others looking for a thank you however. I am sure to say it often to others though. Better to say it more often than needed than not to say it enough....just like "I love you"

I say it only when I really mean it. If someone tells me there is chocoate on my cheek, I don't say it, they just have to be more subtle. like point to their cheek and wink. I didn't say thank you to that one girl from school when she said it, because everyone stared at my cheek! But for nice gestures I say thank you and expect it in return.

it is nice when you go out of your way, or when you do that something "extra". as a general rule don't use it with friends, unless it is something like that. in dealing with strangers use when society dictates is the "polite" thing to do.

I try to be generous with my thank yous and I am appalled at how few people know how to say the magic words.

I don't expect it from anyone but say it all the time myself when needed. My momma didn't raise no fool.

I ALWAYS say thank you to everyone. And yes it would be nice to hear it in return.
