Call me over protective or nervous, but was anyone else afraid that we were going to have to watch Prince die of electrocution on stage. How can they run a show like that in the super bowl in the pouring rain and not have anyone get electrocuted to death.

As long as you're not grabbing a lethal (high) voltage and standing in a puddle of water; there's no danger. The guitar and the microphone generate voltages only in the millivolt range.

I assumed everything was grounded properly. Afterall they get storms like this all the time in Florida.

Prince looked good and played well, but doesn't he have any new songs?

I don't think the stage was metal. It looks like it had a tread.
