For the last few days my computer has had disgusting attitude, its been so bad I switched it off and walked away from it as it got so bad, hoping its going to behave itself from now on.

I have attitude, but when my computer gets cranky it stops being a notebook and goes back to being a laptop, if you know what I mean.

Mine does right now. I downloaded Adobe updates and they corrupted a Windows file, my own computer won't turn on right now. I'm borrowing.

Yes, you should see how long it takes to log off/turn off. And it can take the piss sometimes when the pages load up on the internet.
Surprisingly, bashing it doesn't help.

Yeah and i just don't know why. I give it everything it could possibly want.... it gets daily massages, crumbs of food as and when and little droplets of tea every now and again... but still it does not love me... what more does it want from me? (she sobs quietly)

When I open the lid it starts, when I close the lid it stops, when the lid is open it does what I want, sometimes, well seldom, when the lid closed I am in full command
