I think what you need to do is say what is good and about it. Is there a particular part of methodology that you need to critique - if you let me know I'll be able to help you more. For instance if you are doing questionnaires you'd say they have a low response rate etc...

Let me know...

All methodology should be open to criticism. You may want to look at any bias by the researcher. Look for unsupported correlations not forgetting that correlations can never "prove" anything. Look for doubtful references, if necessary check those references. Is the methodology measuring what it claims to be measuring. Look for unsupported statements and opinion. If quantitative statistics are used, has the correct test been applied and therefore are the maths correct. Has the raw data been collected with sufficient scientific rigour and finally for now, are the conclusions the researcher arrives at with the methodology justified. That should keep you going for a bit. Best of luck.

Do you just mean any kind of methodology, or is it methodology to accomplish something very specific? In general you want to examine the methodology as if it were a list of instructions that are supposed to help someone do something. How clear are they? Do they make good sense? Are they forgetting anything?

I believe the only critique you can raise from methodology is that it eliminates the human opinion; thus inhibiting the so called ‘soul’ from speaking; causing a mutation of your personal criteria.

Methodology is just another name for process.

So what you need to look at is:

Are the steps logical, clear, unamiguous, lead you from the start to the final result, etc etc.

I have a fascination with trains that stems from my childhood, I like this and I agree with the others it should be broken up... but if you say it is an illustrated book, then it would automatically have the breaks where they fit on a page. It needs editing as also has been pointed out, so I have not much more to say than "I like it"
