They both got their ups...movie theaters have the super huge screen, but every now and then you get the annoying loud people or kids that kick the back of your seat(which is real annoying). If you watch a movie at home, you have the comfort of your own home, pause or rewind when ever...oh most important, you don't need to be dressed;you can watch the movie in your underwear and no one would care cause hey it's your house...well unless you have roommates, but guy roommates don't seem to mind. Sooo I would have to say at home. Unless it is a movie on a television network and you have way too many commercials and they cut bits and pieces from the movie to fit the time frame: then it is the theaters.

I only watch movies at home in my home theater. I have a modest home theater system. A 52" wide screen TV with a 5.1 Dolby home theater system. I can rent or buy movies to watch in the comfort of my own home. I don't miss going to the theater at all. No cell phones, no screaming kids, no high prices. I can eat and drink and smoke and be very comfortable watching my favorite movies.

Well when you watch it on television, they sometimes cut out stuff for time. But if you rent it and watch it, I think that's better then the theatre because you can relax and do whatever at home. I hate the theatre seats!!!

I guess it is just you preference. I personally like to go to the movies, have a night on the town I love their popcorn. Some people might want it to be quiet and intimate and you can have that at home.

Theater... I like to watch the previews... plus the screen is huge and the sound systems make it seem as if you are their!

It depends, the theatre is better for the candy and food, but at home you can rewind and pause if you have to get up and its cheaper.
