Thats what the book sez.. The chosen people... Jesus didnt dislike them (jews) as he was a jew in fact & a rabbi... Now he did have some conflicts with some other sects.. particularly the pharasees.. (JC was a Sadducee if i remember right) Kindda like the difference between a Prysbeterian & Catholic sorta (maybe not even that much difference) Jesus never set out to create a "new religion" other people did that.. his Idea was basically to instill that jews should observe the jewish religion and traditions to the letter is all...

Jesus did not dislike Jews. He was a Jew and he loved them, as he loved everyone. Are Jews the chosen people? Some believe so and others question it. The answer is in the Bible.

Jesus was a Jew. He did not dislike his own people. Even Jews do not deny Jesus. They just do not believe him to be the son of God. I couldn't tell you if they are the chosen people or not. This is the word passed down by man for thousands of years, so is it true? Who knows.

Jesus didn't dislike the Jews he loved them and was one of them! He just had a problem with the Pharisees. The Jews were chosen to be a "mission church" to the rest of the world to spread the word about the "One True God." If you read the Bible throuroughly you'll understand this better. Don't trust hearsay--a lot of people take stuff out of context. Get the info yourself. Check out www.gospelnet.com

God chose them."Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine" (Exodus 19:5).
"For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth" (Deuteronomy 14:2).

No one changes God's mind, so what He stated 3,500 years ago is what He will yet do. Jesus didn't dislike them; Jesus challenged them to actually do what God had told them to do (the "Sermon on the Mount" is God's commentary of the Old Testament law.) If Jesus disliked the Israelites, He wouldn't have bothered talking to them, much less would He have died for them. Many people of Israel did repent, believe in Jesus as their Messiah, and then be the early church. However, Zechariah 11:8 notes that the leadership of Israel did not. THAT is the problem. There will be a point when they do see who their Messiah really is. Then the blessings start.

Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are God's chosen people. The Jews are no longer just the chosen people because Jesus opened God's salvation to the Gentiles during his ministry here on earth.

There are no such thing as the chosen people. The Jesus you are speaking of is really no one but some religious man not so much unlike Mohamed or Jerry Farwell, Billy Graham, Ted Haggard, or Pat Robertson.

First of all, why do you think Jesus disliked them?

They are God's chosen people, because he chose them over all the other peoples of the world to be the first to know him, and to be the first to recieve Jesus, the messiah.
