You can. Burger King, MacDonalds, WalMart, K-Mart, & 7-11, they're all hiring.
Message to Marvin: Na Na Na Na Na Naaaa! Marvin doesn't have a degree. Ah! poor Marvin. Get a life Marv, you think 12 bills a week is great? If you had a degree, those 12 bills would be much more.

First off, I love the answers demeaning people with no degree. I have no degree, a GED (failed out of high school) and I make 12 bills a week. First, you must be prepared to pay your dues. Figure out what is reasonable to expect without a degree (I made it to Director of Operations). Start in a business that is not a fad (I picked food distribution). Learn all you can about what you are doing and everything that affects what you are doing. Don't complain. Pick your next level from where you are and if that goal is not acheivable where you are, do your time then go get the next level. Do not leave the position until it is a satisfactory amount of time for a resume or application. That could be a year or two. Also pay attention to yourself. There may be some function that you gravitate to no matter what job you are in. Persue that. Be the best at it. But without a diploma, you have to be patient. The good side is that by the time you get to your goal, you will know a lot more than some snot-nose with a piece of paper.

Well, I would work on that through GED but lower ended factory work, fast food, and some service industries don't require.
