I joined an online dating service and they charged my credit card for a autopay. Problem is I forgot my password and logon and can't access the site to cancel. I've called them, I've emailed them and they said they would send it to me but I never receivind (llogon/password) So I'm paying for something I can't use and I'm afraid they will do the same thing next month.

you could cancel the payment via the bank ( direct debit/standing order). They normally require @least 2 days notice , but it's the best way :) .. If you're online banking do it now ..

hope this works :D

just go to your bank (or credit card company) and inform them there is a charge that you cannot get removed. They can stop payment on it and put a block so the charge can no longer come through.

I had someone or AOL itself hack me and start charging me monthly service. I don't use AOL so I had my bank stop the charging process. This in turn made AOL call the bank to see what is up...and the bank informed them that this was an error and we (me and the bank) were not gonna pay nor honor it. When I had called AOL they didn't care....but when the bank stopped the payment....they cared.

You can also pay $50 to your attorney and have him give them a "friendly call" or a "friendly letter"....aka......letter saying nicely....stop this payment process or we'll see you in court for time, effort, energy and attorney fee's. Most wake up real fast at this point as then they take it serious and not some ranting customer.

You need to cancel it through the credit card company. Call the credit card company & tell them not to allow any future charges to go through.

that's what a lot of companies do: they make it very, very hard to cancel something. my parents had a heck of a time canceling their visa credit card, and canceling AT&T. Just keep contacting the idiots at customer service until they cancel your subscription

Call your credit card company... They will stop the charges and sometimes they will actually erase payments if they see the right situations. Good luck

Did you try to check your bulk folder? The messages from them might be there.
Otherwise, just go to your bank and cancel the payment. They will make you to fill a form and sign it, and you won't be charged.

Contact your credit card company and explain to them. If the company does not cancel when you request it, they are then posting illegal charges and their fraud investigation unit will take care of it.
