seems fairly simple...

there is 42500 people that can be in the stadium, with only 31750 seats,

that means that 10750 won't get seats, and these must be stadium workers and players.

Of the 31750 seats, there is 10475 that are reserved for reporters.

The rest 20275 must be for spectators.

Depending on what game is being played (baseball, football, etc...) you can figure out how many are players and how many are stadium workers
