There inability to move the ball on offense. If you make the Bears drive the ball down the field they usually have allot of trouble. The way to beat the bears is don't take to many chances on offense for the defense to kill you and make the offense drive the ball down the field without giving up to many big plays. Their offense has always had trouble sustaining drives..

REX GROOSMAN. REX GROOSMAN, REX GROOSMAN. I guess I would have to add Coach Smith as he sent a boy to do a man's job. After his outstanding wins against the likes of Detroit, Minnesota and Green Bay early in the season his record seems to have been have two good games and then go south for the next couple. So two good ones in the playoffs and then he went south in the big one. There is a lot of talk about him being young and give him time to develop. I don't care how much time you give him to develop he has certain tendencies that he will never overcome that put him at best into a back up role. I say put him there and lets go on with someone who can play with some consistency.

I love the Bears too, but I am objective enough to know that Lovie threw it away by insisting on playing Grossman. The Defense pulled wins out of their @$$es during the season and the playoffs, since the offense couldn't do it with Grossman as QB, but in the Big Game you have to have both working for you, and they didn't.

The Bears lost because the Colts shut them down on the defense front as well as the offense front. The Colts played a better game.

Rex Grossman threw two picks and one of them was returned for a touchdown. The weather played a huge role in the game. Most important, the Colts are a better.

Play calling, they went away from the run, they could have used Adrian Peterson but didn't, this was a team, even special teams fumbled one away.

Go Bears

Their offense was weak. The colts said it themselves, Their offense was built perfectly to suit the Colt's defense. Sorry if you're dissappointed. It's true, they started out strong but atleast they made it to the Superbowl. They were the underdogs, it was expected. The Bears hadn't been in a superbowl since 1987, you should be proud! Take care.
