This is a great place for them. They can say and be as mean as they want because they are basically anonymous. Unfortunately there is not much that can be done about them, we don't want to stoop to their level and be mean back. That's useless and probably what they want.
They are just trying to get a rise out of people.

Not that I'm justifying peoples pissy attitudes but I think that forums and these kind of places are a relatively safe place to get out any pent up frustration and anger without getting fired or beat up or arrested.....
Some people just take way too much advantage of that fact and sometimes fail to remember that other people have feelings and are here to have fun and not get stomped on.
Sorry if you're having problems with party poopers here! Try to see it for what it is though and keep having fun!

You might be perceiving them as being "mean". People are all different personalities types. That is what makes us unique and not boring. Would you like it everyone agreed with you and thought the same, identical way you do? You would become very bored before too long.
If someone bothers you, just ignore them or give it back to them. Do whatever makes you feel good. Don't hold it inside, that will cause all kinds of mental and physical problems.

Because yahoo is known for having rude people, sites that are not moderated as much are known for this. Plus guess its the way people think they can get away with it and think people or their family will not see what they are doing. Also with online stuff you can't see the person or know them in life so guess people think that is how they can get away with stuff is online cause they think it is not as protected or a easy place to target people.

It's winter. That means cold, crappy weather, insane traffic, heating bills through the roof and in some cases, lack of money and love. People chose venues like this to vent and take it out on sweet hearts like you who don't deserve the rough treatment.

a lot of people enjoy the chance to take a kick at you when there are no repercussions for them - treat the same way as cowards and bullies - laugh at them!
a lot of people might answer in humor - love with them
a few might provide genuine answers - be thankful for them!

I don't know, some days some people just need to vent and this is a safe place to do it....it's not like we'll never talk to them again! Ignore them, I say! Maybe they'll go away or better yet, change their attitude.

I think there are mean people because they have nothing better to do or they just don't know what to say and write something mean instead.

I'm only mean when people ask stupid questions.
But I guess others are mean because of the anonymity. Dont be offended, they're probably bored because their lives suck, and they take it out on random people online.

its kinda like a class clown thing..they want attention and reactions out of other ppl. the more mean they are and sarcastic the more they will be known on here!!
