I am 24 and I am trying to gain 10 pounds, but i'm not having any luck, does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,
I am 22 years and I am also trying to gain weight.I have tried drinking GNC calories drink.It is called weight gainers.You have to eat a meal before you drink the weight gainer. It does not contain steroids which I think is good. I personally have a small appetite so I drink to help my appetite open as well. People have told me milk shakes are good to gain weight as well as vitamin B vitamins.Vitamin B helps open your appetite. Then on the other hand people do tell me why would I want to put on weight and usually when you get older you are more likely to gain weight.They are speaking about like age 50 and so on but I am speaking about now I would like a few more pounds to fit my outfits and look good,lol.Well that all I have to suggest to you and I would like some suggestion to myself thank you and good luck.It do work .Thank you.

Good question. I've been trying to put on around 10kg for the past 3 years and managed to put on... 3!! and it's not even that I don't eat... The hardest part is to try not to put too much weight at once so that it doesnt just become fat aroudn the wrong places so i can't just go and eat crap all day long. Instead i eat normally but push for that one more fork at the end of the meal and eat snacks during the day and do (very little actually) sports to keep the shape...
good luck though it's a lot harder that some people think to put on weight

You need to eat protien(fish,chicken,steak,nuts) and carbs(whole wheat products, pastas, rice). if you can't eat that much, because of your appetite or whatever else...time doesn't allow, then you should go to a health food store and buy a protein shake supplement. get a flavor you won't get tired of...if your a chocolate lover get chocolate flavored supplement. then when you've increased your your caloric intake (the amount of calories you've eaten per day) you need to work out. this is the most important part. if you do not exercise you will gain weight in a very undesirable way. weight training will build bulk, and that is what it seems like you want. building muscle will help you gain weight since muscle is more dense (heavier) then fat. depending on where you want more weight to go exercise accordingly...if you want your legs to be bigger do squats with weights, if you want your arms more muscular do bicep curls with weights. you get the picture... increase your weight amount and the repitions (this means for the first week do 20lbs on your legs, then next week 25 and so on. also increase the reps which is the amount of times you lift the weights...2 sets of 10 the first week and 3 sets of ten the second week and so on)

PASTA!!! I had to gain weight and lose wight all throught my life with sports and all and Pasta is the easiest and best way for myself to gain weight. I just eat alot of past meals with Bread, not really more than i usually eat i just switch the meals that i eat to meals that include pasta and bread. If you do this right and continue to excersize you will gain weight but not necesariily gain fat so keep active and eat some Breads and Pastas

Why gain weight? What you going to turn around next, 'How to lose 10 pounds?'? I would not look to gain, some time it will happen when you get older.

Eat rice, pasta and lots of potatoes. Eat plenty of sweets such as cookies, muffins, cakes. Eat a very large breakfast everyday, do not skip meals, and try to eat more than 3 meals per day.Instead of eating fruits eat sweets or carbohydrates, do not exercise too much. Good Luck!!

Eat alot of bread and greasy foods. Also bell peppers fried ing olive oil or butter.

eat alot of fattening foods. trans fats like jack in the box and mc donalds. get the double bacon ultimate cheeseburger and exrtra french fries have milkshakes. pour extra lard on your tacos and use alot of butter

drink slimfast with all your meals. Seriously, I've heard of people doing this to gain weight.
