First, make sure that the rotten tomatoes didn't leave any remains (foul liquid perhaps) by scrubbing out your cabinet with some good old fashioned bleach water. (1 capful per gallon will do it.) Then, Set an open box of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in the cabinet. It will absorb the odor over the next couple of days.
(If it's really bad, I'd use 2 boxes!)

I'm not sure if you saw the mythbusters episode where they left a dead pig in a car in the heat for a while, but they found there is no way to get that out without removing the carpeting and any fabric that the smell may have attached itself to, and THEN cleaning the smell from the metal with the enzyme cleaners (they used a heavy-duty version of the natures miracle from a crime-scene cleanup company). Before you go that route, you may want to try something that hotels and used car dealers use that mythbusters didn't try, which is to get an ozone generator and stick it in the trunk for a couple of days. Ozone has this great ability to kill smells, and maybe it will work in this case. Where do you find an ozone generator? A quick search on yahoo! will point you in the right direction. Consumer models such as the sharper image ionic breeze may work well, but the commercial-grade machines pump out like 50x more ozone and will give your poor trunk a better chance at survival. Good luck!

After cleaning the cabinets, I have the perfect solution for your problem. It is a product called FRIDGE IT odor absorbers. It is a littler purple cube with an activated carbon filter inside that is really great. It works so much better than baking soda and all those spray and it is completely fragrance free. The carbon filter in this product literally eliminates the odors and works for a long time. I use this product everywhere including my fridge and freezer and also under sinks, cabinets, storage, near trash and have friends that use it on cat litter box and also diaper pails - it's that good. I really recommend it and it's not expensive. You can buy it in kitchen gadget sections in stores like walmart and linens and things. I also think camping world sells it. Definitely worth trying. It's the best product for any household odors.
