Check with your local library for books on feminism and any other facet such as feminist enquiry or research or theory. Most universities have Women's Studies departments and I am sure if you contact them they would be happy to direct you to some reading material or literature. I think that you will pleasantly surprised at what you will learn. Everything that is taught in school is from the male, colonialist perspective. Women's studies envelopes all other groups such as people of colour, gender, class, work by minorities. It is like a whole new world and as a female you will find the entire package very empowering.

I would say online is the best. Maybe try old archives of womans protests. At the library look on the computer for topics of womanists and feminists. But womanists and feminists are pretty much the same thing.

The library and online is great, but you can also look around for feminist bookstores. My personal recommendation: get the book "Our Bodies Ourselves", it covers just about every women topic under the sun!

Take a class, a lot of colleges are now offering women's studies degrees. Look up the group NOW, http://www.now.org/, they'll give you a good start.
