Because of the Banshee if you are Irish a old myth of a women dressed in fair garments and such with either piercing white hair or lush red locks.only the truly ancient Irish family's can hear them,such as the Os's and the Mac's.and most Irish people have red hair so its just a superstition among Irish people.

No, I had a girlfriend with Red Hair and she was shy. Does Red Hair suppose to intimidate people because it is not as common as Blond or Brunette.

No, not at all. Auburn hair is pretty but why anyone would want fire engine red hair is beyond me - it's a gross color.

yes in a way..I am fond of red heads..Sara and her sister are red heads..and then there these two sisters when I was little ..one of them I used to play with her hair ..her name was Tina..I have always been fond of red heads..I even like Chelsea Clinton..you have to a cute red head..and natural..its seams only blonds can die their hair red and get away with it..

Well, redheads are supposed to be fiery (hot tempered).
If someone believes this they would maybe be intimidated.
If they didn't believe that, they would not be intimidated by hair color alone.
