This whole Yahoo! Answers is actually a clandestine recruting tool for the Trilateral Commission and the Knights Templar. They track your responses and your points. At some point in the future, you will receive an envelope with only a P.O. Box for a return address, and inside will be the instructions...

...what? I'm just answering a question. Hey, what are you doing? No, wait - Stop! STOOOOOOOOOP.....

People. Ignore this answer. The person was a fool and delusional. Yahoo! Answers is just fun. That's all - fun! The points mean nothing. Nothing at all. Get back to work.

I know what you mean,,,, you can't eat them or pick them, you can't sell them or wear them,,,,you can't even set the dog on them.....

So no, not a huge lot of point to them in my book,,, still there are plenty on here who do want them, so I am happy to oblige wherever possible,,,, I have designated myself the thumbs up fairy for the clever, interesting and funny answers. I don't even bother with the thumbs down, I prefer not to even acknowledge the creepy ones...

Oh,,,welcome by the way, hope you have fun,,see ya round :-)

The points really aren't for any thing but to get to different levels don't worry its kind of like when you were in grade one and the teacher gave you Prince or Princess points there just there for fun and games.

It's just a fun thing to do. The points aren't actually worth anything. It's like an online game where you actually get to help people.

The feeling that you've suggested something that may be helpful for that person asking a question, feels good. Not only that, you get points for doing so.

The points arent for anything (i wish you could buy stuff with it). I just go here and answer questions when I'm bored.

3000 points and $3.00 will buy you a cup of coffee.

It just proves you have nothing better to do with your time.

You could be getting paid for answering questions, but you choose to do it for free.

I would say to just ask questions instead of answering them.

I am no better.
