I was just wondering...we have drama in high and middle school...so is work anything like that besides the work, or does it get boring? Like no friends and no drama...?

Pretty much just like school-- drama, friends, workplace angst, really amazing things, and truly awful things. The only difference is that people are even less inclined to hear the "why" or "how" of every situation...

I loved high school. It was so much fun to be there with my friends and learn new things, but I actually enjoy my career life now more then anything. I have good friends at work and we still have a good time. We learn new things everyday (I do IT Support) and there can be small amounts of drama occasionally cause there are some immature people here, but things never get boring. It's just a new chapter in your life and it may take some adjusting to get used to it. That and hey, I'm getting paid to do the exact same thing I did in school. Best of luck and I hope this helped!

Work is nothing like school. There are no exams where you are working. You always see the same people everyday which are your coworkers/supervisors. Some people we don't get along with, so we have to do our best in that job that we got hired. When you are working, there is no such thing as hiding. In school, if I didn't like someone, I used to hide from that person, but at work, you have to see everyone and you get a paycheck from that company. School doesn't pay you at all. Sometimes there are friends, but it depends if we can make any at the company. So it depends on who you are working with. There is a lot of gossip, but no drama.

Depends on your co-workers and environment. Some places people get along really well. I was a seasonal employee at Macy's and I made friends in the first few days. The people there were really friendly. Even the managers. Any drama there was with the customers.

It really depends on the job you have. I think for the most part though, there is less drama than school. I have a lot of fun at my job now but there is still gossip, arguments, etc. I have met some great people through jobs, too. Have fun while you're in school and try to enjoy it. You'll miss it later.

Its different. For one thing, everyone is an adult, so there is much less drama. It gets boring sometimes, but usually you can get up and go get a cup of coffee or something. It really just depends on what type of work you do, where you work, etc.

That depends on where you work and stuff like that, but where I work I have friends and there was some drama so it just depends.

No. Work is nothing like school these days. There are no second chances, no excuses. Nobody cares about your self esteem, only results.
