I used to have close relationships with my kids, friends, used to fall in love. . .but these days I have no desire to interact with anyone unless I have to (for work). Has anybody else experienced that? I just don't like people anymore.

I like to say "I don't have no use for people anymore" I feel that way a lot.

I do. Particularly when you become aware of how evil people are. Most just little better than animals. Fundamental to this is the fact I don't owe anyone a conversation let alone acknowledgement considering the kinds of people I " coincidentally " find in my path. So, no. It's anything but unusual if rarely manifested. It takes a vertebrate to say so.

Totally understand i feel the same way some times too.
I only like a few people the rest could disappear and i wouldnt care.

but honey!!!! don't distance yourself away from me!!!! don't leave me!!! lol just kidding! yeah sometimes i feel that way too but i get lonely and eventually start trying to make contact. it's not really good to be alone all the time. maybe you're just being depressed and need time to be alone. i would suggest letting your family and friends now how you are feeling. that way they won't feel abandoned and rejected by your need for time alone. you wouldn't really want to alienate the important people in your life.

Feelin this way is normal, but not good to be this way for a long time....this could be signs of depression, or high stress...Did something happen that made you feel that way? maybe try counseling. good luck!
