Are abortions murder??

I mean there is a human being inside you....and sometimes when people get an abortion the poor little baby has, arms and legs....it is so cruel to be doing that to something so precious...i just don't understand why people would do such a nasty, cruel thing....all I have to say is if you didn't want the responsibility's of a child then you need to keep you legs closed and your pants up...isn't that right??? anyway i want your views is it murder?? is it right?? and should it be allowed??

i wasn't looking for a political side of things i was just seeeing what people thought....
i do agree that if a woman is raped she has a right to have an abortion but isn't adoption a much nicer option...i mean u wouldn't be here if your mum suddenly decided she wanted an abortion

Yes, it's murder, no, it's not right, and no, it shouldn't be allowed. The average age of an aborted baby in America is 10 weeks. At just 3 weeks after conception, the baby has a beating heart. At 5 weeks, she has arms and legs. By 6 weeks, she has recordable brain waves and tiny fingers. At 7 weeks, she is moving in the womb. At 8 weeks, she can suck her thumb. If her palm is pricked, she will open her mouth and pull her hand away. At 9 weeks, she can grasp an object placed in her womb. Every abortion kills an innocent human being. That's not opinion, but a simple biological fact.

In the case of rape, we need to remember that the innocent child should not be punished by death for the crime of her father. Would you kill a one-year-old because her father was a rapist? If not, we shouldn't kill a child in the womb for the exact same reason. Children conceived in rape are NOT less worthy of life than the rest of us because of the circumstances of her conception. Furthermore, abortion only increases the grief and trauma of a woman who has been raped. Abortion does not erase the fact of the rape, but only causes the mother to become the aggressor, hurting another innocent victim the way she was hurt. Rape is bad; murder is worse. The knowledge of what she has done to her child will haunt her long after she has healed from the rape. I used to be, not "for" it, but not completely against it. Then I got more educated on it, and now I see that while the child is not really alive, it's wrong to just take an expecting life away. I do think that adoption is a better solution, but I do see that some younger women get scared that they'll get attached and their life will change suddenly.

I'm only for abortion when it is the result of rape. It's not because the woman wasn't being careful, it wasn't her fault at all, and she shouldn't have to be constantly reminded of what happened.

I also think it is mean. and i completely agree with you. i believe it is murder, and its not right. and It should be banned. i know i never really wanted to have kids but i am glad i have them. they keep me strong. and i am really great at being a mom. But i can also understand a young scared woman becoming pregnant when she is not ready. but in my own case i took a deep breath and watched as the time came and gone to the birth of both my daughter and son. abortion should be banned and in all cases they should have adoption the option not killing an incident child that is so little that they dont know much about the world. they are precious and they are our future. (i am adopted and i know how it feels to feel that my parents didnt want me. to know nothing about my life before i came to my foster family.)

It's up to the individual. Only that one person knows exactly which choice is best for her. It's not fair to judge other people if you haven't been in their same situation. I thought abortion was murder as I was growing up, because that's what the Catholic church told me to believe. As I became more aware of life in general and religion in a more spiritual sense, I developed the opinion that it's all up to the woman and what choice is best for her...not the fetus. She's here living on this planet right now, the fetus is not. And as far as being judged in any bible, the only judgment the woman will need to answer to is herself. If she chooses to punish herself here on earth, that will be the only punishment she'll receive. God is love and all forgiving.

Yes, abortions are definitely murder. Terminating a pregnancy where a human being is living and growing is in fact ending a life, so that is murder. It should not be allowed at all unless the mother's life is in danger.

I think that it is murder when you do it just because you don't want a baby at this moment and time. But if you were molested, raped and got pregnant i think you should have an abortion. I heard that babies born of incest have deficiencies and problems. I wouldn't my baby to suffer like that for the rest of their life.

yes in a way but the baby is techinicaly not alive because the brain is not developed and they haven't even breathed. after a certain amount of time it becomes a life. but there are times when abortion is ok. Like if someone is raped they can't help it if they get pregnant. But it is murder after a amount of time like 3 months

Abortion is 100% legal and every woman has the right to choose.
There are so many different reasons for a woman/girl to have an abortion. I do not see abortion as murder because a fetus is not a baby yet.
I have not had an abortion but if something were to be wrong to make me want to have one then i would and i would not care what people like you thought about me.

Abortion is murder, because the little body inside you has a heart and is formed!! if you are not ready to have the responsibility to take care of something so wonderful and amazing then dont have sex!!! if your not ready to face what could happen by having sex your not ready to have sex, or you know use a freaking condom thats what they are good for!! Abortion is murder it should not be aloud!!!
