i have 4 split files ~~name.zip.001... .zip.004. the program used to split them is called HJ File Spliter, i followed the instructions, i clicked "join" and browsed to the folder, it only shows one of the four files, there is a side note that says, " To join a set of files,please first open the .001 file using the 'Input file' button. If the other files (.002, .003, etc.) are in the same directory they will be found automatically." then i got a file called ~~name.zip. I assumed that i should click "extract here" and this is the message that i got, "~~name.zip: Either mulipart or corrupt ZIP archive" now i'm not very computer saavy, but i do know enough to be slightly dangerous to myself.. lol! please help! Thanks.

Try downloading a program called 7zip, and installing it.
It's freeware.
You wiil then need to select all 4 files
Right click on them and from the list menu that appears select Extract here
7zip should be able to sort them out for you

Use winrar and extract the first file and it should extract all to one locaion

rmn_tech is correct, 7zip is 100% without any spyware, adware...etc...and easy to use.
