There IS NO controversy. Scientists have said that by the end of this century there will be no more ice in the Arctic.

Greenhouse gasses (produced by fossil fuels) get trapped in our atmosphere and when sunlight heats the earth it should bounce back to space but the gasses trap the heat causing global warming.

Watch "An Inconvenient Truth" and it will show you clearly what's been happening to our planet and it has nothing to do with cow farts.

Even if we stopped producing greenhouses gasses immediately, there is no way to stop the effect of global warming, only slow it down. It needs hundreds of years to break up and dispense so the best that can be done is to slow it down, and ideally (which will never happen) if all greenhouse gasses were reduced the air and water would one day (over the centuries) be totally clean and pollution free...but that is a pipe dream and will never happen. We will self destruct as the world over populates.

There is likely a new world order ready to take over this crisis and if you thought Hitler was a maniac imagine what these people will stoop to when there is no more food or water, medicine etc. for people...imagine how insane that world will be and what it will take to contain the chaos. Don't think the elite haven't foreseen this or entertained those thoughts of what will likely happen in the not so distant future, and believe me they don't give a hoot about you or me.

And just so you know, for the immediate future, this means more EXTREME weather, ie this lovely -30 to -50 weather, and nauseous and deadly heat waves like the 130 temps for 3 weeks this year, plus the drying up of the little water desert countries have, and the death of hundreds of millions of people. Look forward to tornados and hurricanes escalating and happening in places you've never imagined before, and oceans rising by the foot each passing year.

I always love hearing from foolish people who know nothing like Tino here. Boy your education level clearly shows darling.

Extra Blue Note what you are talking about is depleting the Ozone which is something different. Chemicals thin out the ozone which blocks the deadly UVA and UVB rays from frying us to death. The thinning of the ozone layer allows these rays to come through and they carry high radiation which will give us skin cancer, which is why that is on the rise. The two things are interlinked but they are separate.

its a joke,
what politicians and scientists don't realize is that , global warming is going to happen one way or another..
now they are blaming on industries and car pollution ..

but have these geniuses ever thought of the world and animal population.. 5billion plus god knows how many cows, goats and horses.. what im getting at is .. when we let one rip as in 'Flatulence' , what kinda gases do we produce?
Nitrogen, Carbondioxide, Methane, and Oxygen

so whats next killing animals to prevent global warming..
such a joke.

live with it people, its going to happen! ps worst of it will occur 100 years from now.. unless any of u are planning to live past 100.. take a chill pill and enjoy this so called global warming.

Our earths atmosphere is called the Ozone. Chemicals are destroying the ozone at a high rate of speed which lets more sun unto us. Car air conditioners-hairsprays most things with flora-carbons do in the ozone. Since more sun comes into the earth now it will make the weather hotter. The more of the ozone disappearing the hotter it gets and melts the ice caps and makes our temperatures hotter.

Global warming is the (false) theory that the globe is warming up. Even if it warms up in one place it cools down somewhere else. The
average temp. of the world has not changed since the 1910's. Nothing to worry about. ;)

It is the globe warming up. The controversy is whether or not it is caused by humans.

People are thinking that people are causing to much waste, which is affecting the atmosphere, which is going to heat the world, which will make droughts and flooding and will kill us all..
