I mean during class today someone told me that i was a little bit of a teachers pet in some classes. Not all of them but a few. I mean I hardly ever talk to the teachers. I guess maybe they say that because I get good grades, so they automaticly think Im a teachers pet. Or maybe its cause I dont talk much in class that causes me to be one. I mean i seriously dont care what others think of me. I dont care if they think im weird if i dont talk much. I just kinda wanna get through the day just to be home with my famly and friends and everything. Im just wondering what the heck a teachers pet really is.

Teachers pet is a term that school age children that get not so good grades call the people that actually do the wrok and get good grades i ws one too i know what u mean but hey its not the teacher gving u the good grades u are earning them so i guess u are ur own so ig nore them and keep up the good work

There are 2 types of pets.
One is where the student sucks up to the teacher which is extremely annoyimg for other students.
The second is simply that a teacher favors you *for whatever reason, your a quiet student, you're a good looking girl etc). It's annoying because some teacher's don't grade this so called pets as hard as others.
This is not the student's fault, it's just that the teacher prefers them so you may get better grades on an essay question even though some other student put a lot more effort and work into theirs.

There are different reasons why someone is called "teacher's pet". They could just be jealous because you get better grades than them. Or you could really try to suck up to the teacher.
As long as there's no litter box under your chair don't worry about it!

Sounds like those kids are jealous of how hard you work, how smart you are, or both of those things....a "teacher's pet" really just mean someone who the teacher likes a lot.....there's nothing wrong with that so don't worry about it! keep up the good work.
