If a test is done to establish paternity, does the child receive a new birth certificate with the biological father's name? And does the father automatically get visitation rights?

Think the mother has apply for a birth certificate if she wants one but there will be one that has his name on it as father. Nope, does not get vistiation rights unless family court grants it, does have to repay the Welfare Dept if Mama has been collecting for the kid and will have a monthly support payment set up for him. Why would he want vistitation rights to a kid he did not acknowledge or refused to claim? Would the kid benefit from that. Send the check and go back under the rock.

No the birth certificate is not automatically changed. The mother would have to contact the city/county to revise it.

The biological father does not receive automatic visitation, nor does the mother receive child support automatically. Both require a lawyer.
