He's not a very nice guy, always complaining. The wind knocked his ladder over and it looks like he can't get off the roof. He waved to me as I was standing by my front window, so I waved back pretending that I didn't notice the ladder. Maybe if I leave him up there for a while he will be a nicer neighbor

get him down and score points. THAT might make him a nicer neighbor. Leaving him on the roof is only going to make him nastier.

LOL that is the best pay back for a bad neighbor I have ever heard. I agree, leave him up there, because I doubt this one thing is going to turn his life around to make him nicer. He'll probably just complain you didn't help him soon enough.

actually go outside with some headphones and wander around in your front yard and if he tries to get your attention wave back and then go inside and turn your lights out like you're going to bed or something.
OR
open your windows and blast some really horrible music at him.
that should give him the hint

Maybe if you go out and pick up his ladder and help him to get down, he'll realize how 'nice' you are and won't feel that he needs to 'complain' all the time!

I laughed at first, but is it cold out? Now we all know you seen the ladder fall so if we see him on the news, dead, we will know his neighbor seen his ladder fall. But if it isn't too cold, to hell with him!
