it usally starts to drop around the 7th to 8th month but its nothing bad its actually good because that means the baby is going down more and proabaly getting in the right position but dont worry its normal it doesnt mean the baby is coming anytime soon

You 'stomach' doesn't drop, it's the 'baby inside you' that 'drops' down so that its head is nested just above the 'birth canal' and that 'dropping' means that the pregnancy is 'nearly over' and that you can 'go into hard labor' any time. GOOD LUCK!

Very near the end of pregnancy. It means your baby is moving into position for delivery. Ideally the head will be down and facing backwards from the mother's perspective.

The baby will slide down into the pelvic cavity, head first or else it is breech. In first time moms this can happen weeks before delivery, 2nd and subsequent time mothers it may not happen until labor/delivery. You will know when it happens you will suddenly breathe easier and the weight in your nether regions will feel enormous.
